The pun is intended, yes, the iconic Native has opened its new hideout in ICON BSD. Unveiled in the ever-growing residential suburban area, Native greets the Tangerang townsfolk with the captivating aroma of freshly brewed coffee. And undeniably, our friends who live around the neighborhood are overjoyed that finally, one proper coffee shop is within their reach.
Are any of you a frequent visitor to their early branches? Be it in Pantai Indah Kapuk, Alam Sutera, or The Maj Cibubur, Native offers the same old story and ambiance. Identically, Native is designed with rustic contemporary style and attempts to bring you back to the ancient times of native Americans, which we have never ever witnessed.
Thus, as per our research, we are going to tell you how we interpreted that old tale to the interior design of Native in ICON BSD. Of course, as you have encountered in the other Native’s homes, especially in PIK, the focal point is also depicted through the texturized bar. It is the implementation of the primitive human’s shelter, which is a cave.
Those cavemen really loved to do some carving works, didn’t they? As the only way to communicate at that time, they engraved their experiences on the cave surface. Ergo, we decided on a whole lot of murals, which were also inspired by what the cavemen usually drew in the past, but we added Native brand color to imprint Native’s identity.
For the decorations, there is also a showcase of tribal statues and cactus plants that enhance the ambiance of Native. We then complemented it with terracotta-colored flooring, tribal-patterned sofa cushion, and organic-shaped table and chair.
How about the wall treatment? What we are after is the natural ambiance. Accordingly, we prescribed two designs, which are textured walls on the first floor and brick material on the second story.
